Converting Peugeot 206 Into Micro Camper Part6 (Paint Job)

The paint Job.

Before I started painting the wood construction I wanted to give the exterior kitchen countertops the appearance that they have porcelain tiles on top of them.

[GR: Πριν ξεκινήσω το βάψιμο της ξυλοκατασκευής ήθελα να δώσω στους εξωτερικούς πάγκους της κουζίνας την εμφάνιση ότι έχουν πλακάκια πορσελάνης στο πάνω μέρος τους. ]

To make the embossed gaps between the tiles on the upper side of the plywood I used a large ruler, meter, paper cutter and sandpaper.

[GR: Για να κάνω τις αυλακώσεις ανάμεσα στα πλακάκια στην πάνω πλευρά του κοντραπλακέ χρησιμοποίησα ένα μεγάλο χάρακα, μέτρο, χαρτοκόπτη και γυαλόχαρτο.]

First I painted the whole surface with blue paint and then with a small brush I painted the gaps with black.

[GR: Πρώτα έβαψα όλη την επιφάνεια με μπλέ χρώμα και κατόπιν με ένα μικρό πινέλο έβαψα τα κενά με μαύρο.]

Before proceeding with the painting of the kitchen storage box, I put a partition to create the space where the battery will enter and the rest of the devices of the separate power system.

[GR: Πριν προχωρήσω στο βάψιμο του αποθηκευτικού κουτιού της κουζίνας έβαλα ένα χώρισμα ώστε να δημιουργηθεί ο χώρος που θα μπει η μπαταρία και οι υπόλοιπες συσκευές του ξεχωριστού συστήματος ρεύματος.]

In front of this partition will be the control panel of the system with: 2 USB ports, Voltmeter, cigarette lighter socket and switches.

And underneath the solar charge regulator.

[GR: Μπροστά από αυτό το διαμέρισμα θα βρίσκεται ο πίνακας ελέγχου του συστήματος με: 2 θύρες USB, βολτόμετρο, υποδοχή αναπτήρα και διακόπτες.

Και από κάτω θα μπει ο ρυθμιστής φόρτισης του φωτοβολταϊκού.]

The two parts of the construction are ready to be installed in the car. The interior was painted white.

[GR:Τα δυο τμήματα της κατασκευής είναι έτοιμα για να τοποθετηθούν στο αυτοκίνητο. Εσωτερικά βάφτηκαν με άσπρο χρώμα.]

As you can see in the photos the reason I chose this color is to match the folding chairs I bought from Adventure Junkies (our camping gear supplier).
