Building the Bed.
The most important part of a camper is the bed. In order to make our bed in this vehicle, the studies were done before I even started any construction.
Since the upper part of the kitchen storage box is also a small percentage of the bed, the height of the box had to be studied properly. To get the desired length of the bed to 1.80 the main limitation was the distance of the bed from the roof of the car so that we could sleep comfortably.
[GR: Το σημαντικότερο τμήμα ενός καμπερ είναι το κρεβάτι. Για να γίνει το δικό μας κρεββάτι σε αυτό το όχημα οι μελέτες έγιναν πριν καν ξεκινήσω οποιαδήποτε κατασκευή.
Μιας και το πάνω μέρος του αποθηκευτικού κουτιού της κουζίνας είναι και κατά ένα μικρό ποσοστό μέρος του κρεβατιού έπρεπε να μελετηθεί σωστά και το ύψος του κουτιού.
Για να βγει το επιθυμητό μήκος του κρεβατιού στα 1,80 ο κύριος περιορισμός ήταν η απόσταση του κρεβατιού από την οροφή του αυτοκινήτου ώστε να κοιμόμαστε άνετα.]
Under the bed the front seats should be folded and the main issue is to fit the ice cooler in its permanent position.
[GR: Κάτω από το κρεββάτι θα πρέπει να είναι τα μπροστινά καθίσματα διπλωμένα και το κυριότερο θέμα είναι να χωράει το ψυγείου πάγου στην μόνιμη θέση του.]
The bed therefore consists of 2 sets of 2 pieces of OSB wood dimensions 75cm x 60cm joined together with hinges.
Each set also has two legs that fold with hinges.
At the front I have made three removable legs, one above the parking brake and one between each seat and door.
[GR: Το κρεβάτι λοιπόν αποτελείται από 2 σετ των 2 τεμαχίων από ξύλο OSB διαστάσεων 75cm x 60cm ενωμένα μεταξύ τους με μεντεσέδες.
Κάθε σετ έχει επίσης από δυο πόδια που διπλώνουν με μεντεσέδες.
Στο μπροστινό μέρος έχω φτιάξει τρία αφαιρούμενα πόδια, ένα πάνω από το χειρόφρενο και ένα ανάμεσα από κάθε κάθισμα και πόρτα.]
The parts of the bed are joined to the storage box with special rotating hooks.
To enter the car for sleep we use the rear doors of the passengers.
The dimensions of the bed are 1.80cm by 1.20cm enough for the three of us.

Για την είσοδο μας στο αυτοκίνητο για τον ύπνο χρησιμοποιούμε τις πίσω πόρτες των επιβατών.
Οι διαστάσεις του κρεβατιού είναι 1,80cm επι 1,20cm αρκετό και για τους τρείς μας.]
The bed and the removable kitchen counters.
For mattresses we chose self-inflating from Adventure Junkies (our camping gear supplier) that take up little space in their transport.

Για στρώματα επιλέξαμε αυτοφούσκωτα από το Adventure Junkies που καταλαμβάνουν λίγο χώρο στην μεταφορά τους.]

The wood of the bed as I mentioned in the previous post is stored in an upright position between the storage box and the front part.
The empty space is enough for me to look backwards through the main mirror.
